Dr. Taylor spent a majority of his childhood in Eugene, Oregon, attended high school in Alameda, California, and returned to Oregon, where upon graduation he enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard. He spent 6 years with the National Guard as a medic working within infantry platoons. In 2003, his National Guard unit was attached to the 1st Cavalry Division and was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq until 2005. Upon returning home from active duty, he began attending Portland State University where he was the founder and captain of the Vikings lacrosse team. He earned two bachelor’s degrees: one in Public Health Education, and another in Exercise and Physical Activity; and then attended chiropractic school at the University of Western States earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Taylor has both played and coached lacrosse over the past 23 years. He is also a Muay Thai and Jiu JItsu practitioner, and avid surfer.
